We have expanded our coworking space after just 1 year in business
Following a successful first year in business and growth of membership to over 200, we have expanded with the opening of a new space at Sussex House.

When we first opened at the end of January 2019 we new there was a need for an inspiring, contemporary space for local freelancers and small businesses to work from. Fast forward just 12 months and we have been proved right, as on the 1st March we cut the ribbon to a new suite at our Chichester base doubling the space for coworking we are able to provide..
With 6 new private offices and another 25 coworking hot desks Rume2 is now able to offer an even wider choice for those wanting an exciting, modern and friendly place to work.
We always knew Chichester deserved a space that supported its vibrant entrepreneurial business community, but even we have been pleasantly surprised but how rapidly we have grown and how quickly we have been able to expand due to demand.
Rume2 offers not only coworking with superfast wifi, unlimited fresh coffee and healthy refreshments, it also offers an extensive program of talks and workshops to support our members in business skills and encourage personal and creative growth.
Over our first year we have offered a wide range of workshops to members on a plethora of topics from business skills such as finance and marketing, to wellness advice and creative workshops. We encourage our members to work, talk and grow together and these sessions allow them to step away from the day to day, meet others and open up their minds to new skills and opportunities.
As a result we have seen many of our members start working together or for each others clients which is a delight to see and affirmation we are really adding to the local business economy by being here.”
We have a firm ethos to support local and as with our first fit out, the new space has used only local tradesmen and suppliers to carry out the works. All new members will also benefit from the wide range of local discounts offered to encourage them to support local businesses on their way to and from work and at lunchtimes.

Our brand new dedicated office is beautiful, with custom made furniture and large windows it's a lovely space to work in. I can shut the door and focus on complex tasks and do my calls but also change things up a bit and work in the co-working space. I'm a big fan of the standing desks with clever lamps that can also charge my phone wirelessly.
We've already grown our business significantly by being a part of the community here. Rume2 is exactly what Chichester needed. Already it's attracting talented freelancers and exciting start-ups but also providing an inspirational space for larger organisations to have meetings away from their usual place of work.
