 PR Senior Account Executive - Job Specification

 

Day to day responsibilities:

-         Help manage a portfolio of approximately 4-5 client accounts and develop a deep understanding of client needs, ensuring timely and effective delivery of appropriate services.

-         Being the engine room in your team to ensure actions are identified and completed in a timely manner.

-         Create media lists, and track all coverage in our reporting tools.

-         Draft press releases, case studies, opinion articles and other written materials to a high standard.

-         Liaise with clients - often independently - regarding press campaigns, projects, and PR solutions.

-         Work with account directors to deliver and manage projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.

-         Build and nurture relationships with key media contacts on a daily basis.

-         Responsible for Frame PR written content for social media, blogs, and PR press.

-         Keep a keen eye on social media each morning, and track for media opportunities to piggyback on.

-         Subscribing to relevant newsletters and podcasts to keep abreast of the start-up world.

-         Having a genuine desire and proactively engaging with traditional and social media on a daily basis and being able to present opportunities noted to clients.

-         An ‘ideas person’ - often presenting new feature ideas to the internal team, and to clients.

-         Having a keen desire to write, and producing clean and clear written work.

-         Being highly organised with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

-         Showing excellent listening skills – capturing all salient points a client makes during every interaction and ultimately knowing what clients really want.

-         Demonstrating first-rate note taking skills – sharing and communicating relevant information effectively so it doesn’t get lost.

-         Nurturing brilliant relationships with journalists, and not being afraid to use the phone, or meet the media face to face.

-         Driving outstanding results beyond just hitting targets.
