‘TIME TO TALK’ TIPS

Ahead of ‘Time To Talk Day’ (3rd of February) run by MIND and Rethink Mental Illness, which is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations about mental health with family, friends and colleagues. Elly will be joining us for a 30 minute session to share tips for talking about mental health. Although there is no right way these tips can help make sure you are approaching the conversation helpfully.
1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health issue in any given year, so it's important for people to feel comfortable talking about mental health wherever they choose. We all have mental health and by talking about it we can support ourselves and others.
Elly is an independent Mental Health First Aid Trainer, founder of Well Minds Training Ltd, volunteer for West Sussex Mind and an advocate for all things mental health.
